The album was finished in January 2008 and was very representive of our live set at the time, plus an extra dollop of Clinker oddness on the side. We were (and still are) very happy with it. By March, we’d lost our bass player (Joe).  We spent the rest of this year trying to suitabley replace him, so we could finally be able to make the album widely available and play the songs live regularly.

During this time, we carried on recording and it soon become clear the next album was going to sound quite different.  Now we have another new one almost finished which is the next step on for us.  So we’ve decided to give this one (“Clinker”) away.

]]> album free indie. clinker mp3 psychedelic Buzznet clinker 2008-12-14T14:12:00Z <![CDATA[FREE new EP "Let's Go Out and Get Fucked"]]> http://clinker.buzznet.com/user/journal/2815661/ So there we were wondering what would become the fourth track for our new EP and it became obvious.  We’ve had such a great response to our new tune “Let’s Go Out and Get Fucked” why not stick it on the EP as the lead track.  The sun was the influence to put the tune out in the first place.  I hear it, the sun is out and it just leads me out the door and on the booze (Suze).

 

This has led Marcus to hastily recording real drums and fuck does it sound so much better.  The original (fake) drums sound so flimsy by comparison.  So this led to me updating our player to feature the new version.  Changing the video will prove a bigger task down to the amount of sites we’ve uploaded it onto, so for now that will remain the same.

 

Anyway, I’ll stop waffling now.  I’m sure it’s boring shit. 

 

So yeah there’s a new EP.  It’s gonna be called “Lets Go Out and Get Fucked” (why not?) and it features four tracks.  We want to get it out before Summer is truly over here in England.

 

1.       Let’s Go Out and Get Fucked

2.       Crimewave

3.       Too Punchdrunk (Bushwhacked)

4.       It’s Too Late
